Our History

PT BNI Sekuritas was established on April 12, 1995, as a subsidiary of PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero), Tbk. At the beginning of its establishment, 99.85% of PT BNI Sekuritas shares were owned by PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero), Tbk., and the remaining 0.15% by the Employees' Cooperative Organization. In the middle of 2011, BNI Securities Pte. Ltd. strengthened by a new top-notch strategic Investor which was the SBI Securities Pte. Ltd. Japan. Thus PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero), Tbk. shares composition transitioned to 75% and the rest of the shares were owned by SBI Securities Pte. Ltd. Japan. Then again, in 2014 SBI Securities Pte. Ltd. shared its ownership to SBI Financial Services Co., LTD. In line with the developments and regulations of the market capital industry, in the same year, BNI Sekuritas formed a legal subsidiary, namely PT BNI Asset Management as a company that has been registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK), BNI Sekuritas is licensed as a provider of underwriting services, securities brokerage, and mutual fund selling agent. PT BNI Securities has a business license in the field of investment banking with Number: KEP-20/PM/1995 and changes in the use of securities company business license as an investment banking under the name of PT BNI Securities into a business license under the name of PT BNI Sekuritas with Number: KEP-20/PM.2/2017.

BNI Sekuritas is determined to continuously provide the best service by increasing customer added value by developing an online stock transaction system. This system continues to be refined so that it can always satisfy customers in terms of online transactions. In addition, in carrying out the principles of GCG (Good Corporate Governance) and complying with Indonesian Capital Market regulations. BNI Sekuritas has implemented a fund separation policy that mandates all customers to possess investor fund accounts under their own names.
